Online Renewals

The library is closed for renovation as of July 1, 2010. There will be no fines for items kept over the closing period, and no need to renew them. You may return books to the book drop while the library is closed. Thank you.

To view your library account, please access our online catalog

For renewing books:

Click on the "My Account" link found on the bottom of the opening page.
Enter your barcode number from your library card and your password (the last 5 digits of barcode number) then click on "My Account Login"
Once you are logged in, click on "Patron Menu" which is found on the upper left hand side of the page.
Click on "+My Account" which is located in the Hackettstown Free Public Library box found on the left side of this page.
Select "My Circulation Status" from the expanded menu.

The "My Circulation Status" window lists your borrowing information including your "Items Out", "Reserved Items", and "Lost Items."

To renew an item:

Locate the item listed in the “Items Out” section.
Click on the purple “Renew” link found on the right side of the headings.
From the “Item Renewal” window, place a checkmark in the “Renew?” box found next to the item that you would like to renew.
Click on the “Submit” button to renew the item.

Please note: Items may be renewed twice. Books on reserve will not be renewed.
